Does anyone have dyskinesia taking 1mg Azilect in conjunction with Kinson?Do you have experience or think can we take Azilect on and off? eg take it to help with prolonging kinson's effect and when dyskinesia is worse then pause it until need it to work with Kinson again, ànd repeat the step as it happens.

Or cut the tablet in half and either take half per day or 2x half per day ?

Does it damage the brain if do these?

Thanks for your help

I take 450mg Sinemet per day and 1mg Azilect helps me to prolong the effect of Sinemet. I stay quite under my real need of l-dopa: no dyskinesia.

Thanks. What dose is 450mg sinemet?

How long have you been on both? Thanks

Greetings TL,

I have been taking Azilect for a long time. When it came out, my neurologist offered me some free samples that I accepted but didn’t

Take initially. However, one of my cousins had begun taking it and said that people were noticing an improvement and it also helped his golf game, so I started it and have been taking one milligram per day every morning for what I would estimate to be 15 years. I would like to find out when it was introduced. It definitely improved my golf game.

I am not familiar with Kinson but I do have dyskinesia issues. I feel that golf and boxing can reduce my dyskinesia. I have never associated my dyskinesia to with Aszilect but it is worth looking into.

I will say that when the generic Rasagaline came out I got some instead of Azilect. I read the label and saw that both are manufactured by Teva. I was shocked by the difference. I have received best results from Azilect along with Rytary. I hope this helps. MB

Thanks Mogul. So you only took Azilect initially? Nothing else? And when did you start Rytary? When did you start to have dyskinesia? Thanks
