Is propofol safe for a colonoscopy with Parkinson’s?
I’m on
rasagiline

lichen planus anyone?
I am also early stage PD (diagnosed 12/23) and take low dose of levocarbidopa and
Rasagiline
. I was wondering if this could be PD related? Does anyone else here have this as well as PD? Thank you in advance. I don’t post much but have found this community very helpful. 🙏

Effective medication for dystonia as first symptom?
I want to start medication and would prefer to start with
Rasagiline
(trying to postpone Levodopa) but doubt if it does anything for dystonia. There is very little resource on this.

reasons for bad balance/dizzziness
I have identified 5 possible reasons for dizziness/lack of balance. 1. decreasing
rasagiline
too quickly 2. too much carbidopa 3. nOH (neurogenic orthostatic hypotension) Can be caused by rasagilene+rytary) 4. side effect of midodrine (increases when combined with
rasagiline
) 5.

Rasagiline/Azilect?
Hi ! My hwp (77) diagnosed 2017. But of course with hindsight symptoms manifested earlier. Started C/L last year : 25/100 @ 3 times a day. Azilect 1 mg once a day . Walking became a really serious problem a month ago. Partly because of ongoing "sciatica" but also freezing a few times a day. Two weeks

Help in understanding drugs in Parkinsons
I understand that there are complimentary drugs such MAO-B Inhibitors (such as Selegiline,
Rasagiline
, and Safinamide) I've done some cursory reseach which indicates that MAO-B inhibitors are neuroprotective, may delay alpha-synuclein aggregation and therefore may have disease modifying effects.

rasagiline (Azilect) vs Xadago (safinamide) be. Ongentys (opicapone)
Hello all, I have been experiencing off times about 3 1/2 hours after taking one C/L, so my MDS suggested one of these three medications as an add on. (I started with Nourianz, which had no effect. I’m wondering about what people’s experiences has been with any of these drugs? Pros and cons? Thanks

Swapping Rasagiline for Safinamide - Hobson’s Choice or out of the frying pan and into the fire?
Now the pharmacy says
Rasagiline
is in short supply in the UK and likely to become unobtainable.

Selegiline side effects
Due to drug shortages we've been unable to get
rasagiline
and had to swap to selegiline. Since the swap mum has had lots of unusual bleeding and the GP thinks it may be a side effect of the selegiline. Just wondered if anyone else has had similar problems and if so how did you resolve things?.

I have taken

Rasagiline?
I had an appointment with a neurologist who wants me to continue taking Carbidopa-levodopa, but also take
Rasagiline
. The side effects and food interactions list seem onerous and dangerous to me. And, it is rather expensive. I canceled the prescription until I understand this drug better.

Parkinson’s, madopar and heart failure
I'm also on Ropinerole 4mg and
Rasagiline
1mg. Also I was put on Atorvastatin 20mg two weeks before Madopar and wondered if this pain is caused by them and not Madopar. It's annoying the side effects when you are on a lot of meds.

High stress and 1st freezing episode?
I’m 2 years into a PD Dx, only on
rasagiline
and very close to finding my B1 sweet spot, between 100-200 mg. Oral B1. My movement has been improved with B1 after 7 weeks! While going for a ball in pickelball, both my knees just locked, and I fell forward.
