I ended up liking a cheap vibrating massage ball better than the Viraball. The one that I got is no longer available but they're plenty of others on Amazon.

Do you hold it with both hands at the same time? Thanks!

Yes.

I use the Vulken Acusphere Vibrating Massage Ball. Relatively inexpensive but find it has some benefits.

I have tried the Viraball but it did not seem to be as effective as the Hyperice Hypersphere. It seems like almost anything that vibrates your hands for 10 minutes will help with tremor. And stronger vibrations for a longer time seems to help more.

Vibrating ball It didn't do anything for my hand tremors. It was a waste of money. trihexyphenidly helped a bit but I had a lot of bad side effects such as dry mouth, near vision problems, dizziness and short memory loss. I discontinued it. I found that levedopa empty stomach and along with propannol helps my tremors.

I’ve found that a wearable digital metronome (wristwatch style) such as some musicians and athletes use helps me the most. I set it for around 70 beats a minute and it actually seems to work best when I forget about it. They’re not too expensive on Amazon ($30 range).

What a great idea! I am buying one today! Reminds me of the Beech Band for PD that is not available till later this year.

I hope it works for you. You may want to play around with the tempo.

So I bought a metronome watch and it seems to help, it goes for 8 hours. I am around 40 tempo but experimenting still. It seems to only help on the side of the watch? maybe i need a watch for both wrists? Also its not completely silent. Brand is WEGROW $39 AMAZON. Ideas?

Yes, I wish it was silent too. Maybe there’s a brand out there that is—but maybe not. I’m so glad it seems to help.

Do you think a watch on each arm would be best? I find it only seems to help the arm/hand that it is on.

I just don’t know! This is something I just thought of trying out for myself and I’m not really in a position to give advice. I do hope you figure out something that works for you!

I found propranolol (as-needed) and rasagiline in addition to CD/LD helps me. Haven't tried a vibrating device but will now! I did find amantadine didn't help much with tremor.

What dose of propranolol do you use?

10 mg, sometimes 20 mg if having a bad day, have a lot of anxiety, or going to a meeting etc.

Does Propanolol cause dizziness? I play a brass instrument and tremors are making life difficult - with the result that I get nervous, making the tremors worse. The metronome sounds interesting, but a competing beat might not be a good idea!

I haven't tried it but he said thatthe digital metronome works best when ne forgets it. It seems you might be playingyour instrument and forget the beat on your wrist?

It doesn't make me dizzy but everyone is different. It does lower BP and heart rate so if your's is already low I suppose you would be more predisposed to getting dizzy from it.

propanolol makes me dizzy. I find that just resting my hands at the edge of vibration plate for a few minutes in a kind of push up position (but resting on my knees) vibrates my entire arms pretty thoroughly and helps with my tremors better than my Viraball
