A pause in symptoms

Eight years into this journey, I am fortunate to have fairly mild symptoms. My main complaint is pain in my shoulders, and stiffness in my lower back, especially when getting out of bed. It lasts all day, even with exercise, which I do a lot of. Now to my question - I recently had what my doctor said was the RSV virus - it wasn't the flu or Covid. Nothing to be done about it except let it run its course. I did take AlkaSeltzer Plus for colds and had some minor relief, but not much. Anyway, while I was ill, I had no PD symptoms! When I recovered, my PD symptoms returned. Have others experienced this? Could this be an avenue for research? Parkibot had this to say:

Currently, there isn't a consensus in the scientific community on why PD symptoms might disappear during a respiratory illness. Some practitioners may be aware of similar anecdotes, but without rigorous studies, it remains an area of speculation rather than established knowledge.

Very interesting! Something to do with sodium gated ion channels in nerves controlling striated muscles?

maybe alkaseltzer temporarily alleviated some PD symptoms: better sleep, no constipation, no pain, more muscle relaxation = less stiffness and tremors...

but every day is different for pd synptoms
