Mucuna and green tea extract capsules

Does anyone has experience with green tea extract capsules instead of matcha powder?

Since the Mucuna capsules (I use 40% L-Dopa) are already very expensive and matcha powder is even more expensive, I would like to try green tea extract capsules. I have found 3 products from a supplier I trust

1. - Green tea extract with polyphenols - of which 107 mg catechins, 70 mg EGCG plus 30 mg vitamin C plus 5 mg quercetin per tablet

2. - Grüntee-Extrakt EGCG - Grüntee-Extrakt mit 144 mg EGCG plus 150 mg Vitamin C plus 20 mg Quercetin pro Kapsel.

3. - Green tea extract = 100 mg L-theannine from green tea extract

Which of these green tea extract variations would be closest in effect to the decarboxylase inhibitor - does anyone know?

Also:

Has anyone heard that "Tribulus Terrestris" (a plant available to buy as a dietary supplement) acts as a natural decarboxylase inhibitor?

Even though I take Mucuna with 1/2 a Sinemet-tablet it takes a very long time (about 1 1/2 hours until it cickes in) - is that normal?

I take L-theannine 500mg in the evening and it helps me to relax.

this is what I use. I’m using it more than once a day -with each dose of Mucuna and so I found a higher dose to be too much and it caused me to be jittery, etc..

item (2) Grüntee-Extrakt EGCG - Grüntee-Extrakt mit 144 mg EGCG plus 150 mg Vitamin C plus 20 mg Quercetin pro Kapsel is the best choice.

EGCg - COMT inhibitor (allow more L-dopa to get to the brain.

Vitamin C - allows for better absorption

Quercetin - MAO-B inhibitor (allow more L-dopa to get to the brain)

✨👍🏾✨

It is wayoveryonder who suggested Gruntee-Extract . So you will need to ask him, as I have never seen it or used it. He just asked for which is best in the options he presented.

Anyways her is my current regime: Green Tea and a Quercetin/ Vitamin C/Zinc combo

Yes, I have used all these items with each dosing of Levadopa.

The product DopaBoost cued me into the effectiveness of Green Tea (EGCG) and Quercertin. These two items are what they use in their Manuca/L-Dopa combo pill.

I have switched to the more affordable and insurance covered C/L , but have kept the supplementation.

Dose 1: C/L & Quercetin

Dose 2: C/L & Vitamin C

Dose 3: C/L & Green Tea

Some research suggested that Vitamin C, is also helpful in boosting the effectiveness of C/L.

do you rotate the doses 0ver again over the whole day?

She has 3 scheduled does of C/L per day. At 8 am at 12 Noon and at 5:30 pm. Of course the times vary with our wake-up time.

So yes each does is accompanied by Quercertin or Vitamin C or Green Tea. This is a constant. You can of course move these items around. And if I run out of one item another will appear twice for the day.

I take half Sinemet + 1 Now DopaMucuna 15% capsule as the 1st dose. 2nd dose is 1 Sinemet, which I plan to change to Mucuna+Sinemet in some days. Will adding EGCG extract enhance the effect?

Will Green Tea work instead of EGCG extract?

This is what I use. High-Potency Green Tea Extract: Each capsule contains 400 mg of green tea extract standardized to 80% total catechins and 50% EGCg (200 mg), providing the equivalent phytonutrient content of 2-3 cups of green tea.
