Significant Reduction in Muscle Cramps

Eight years after being diagnosed with Parkinson's, I am currently only taking Levodopa 250 and Levodopa 125 HBS (I had bad reactions to all other medicines. Name it and I very likely tested). Over the years, I have suffered greatly from full-body cramps (which were quite unpleasant), but I can now say that the situation has significantly improved thanks to various adjustments.

1. I make sure to drink at least 1.5 liters of water daily (I have a personal bottle that I use to monitor my water intake and check by the evening if I've had enough).

2. Diet and beverages: I prioritize lean white meats, avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks, and rarely consume fried foods. I ensure I eat fruit twice a day and include vegetables in at least one meal. For desserts, I opt for those with low sugar content, and I completely avoid adding sugar to tea or coffee.

3. I’ve noticed that green tea, along with half a teaspoon of a magical mix (honey, turmeric, cinnamon, black pepper, and ginger), is very effective in reducing urinary inflammation and general inflammation.

4. I’ve integrated citric calcium (twice a day for two months, then once a day for a month) and glycinated magnesium on alternate months.

5. When bowel movements become stubborn and vegetables aren’t enough, I resort to an enema. Apologies for being so blunt!

6. For movement, I set a timer and ensure I take a 10-minute walk, do exercises, dance, or engage in any enjoyable activity every 50 minutes.

7. Meditation is a part of my routine and managing thoughts are essential. The more fear takes hold, the more stress and depression affect the body. Learning to confront uncomfortable thoughts and let them go is crucial.

8. With these adjustments, my cramps have significantly reduced (from daily occurrences to sporadic events, maybe every three days or even once a week. I don’t keep track; I focus my thoughts elsewhere!). In extreme cases of cramps, I stay calm. I don’t allow victimhood to take over. Additionally, my husband helps by adjusting my leg position or using techniques we've refined over time. His support is invaluable. I’ll try to explain this in another post; it would be more effective to show you, but I’m not sure how to do that.

I sincerely hope that the above information can be of help to you in some way. Warm regards!

Using Magnesium chloride spray (Mag Oil) will generally stop muscle cramping in about a minute from application. Here is a link to a typical product :

Temporarily switching to magnesium citrate capsules from magnesium glycinate capsules will generally prevent constipation in many people. Switch back once normalized.
