Hi to everyone. I live in Italy and have been diagnosed with PD for about 2 years. I don't take levodopa but my balance is poor. How can I increase my balance? I'm already doing lrolrioceptive exercises every day but I haven't had satisfactory results yet. I look forward to your advice, thank you!

URBNFit Balance Board Trainer - I just picked this up from Amazon. Its $30 and very sturdy. It's a really fun challenge. Hold on to something when you first try it and then try and let go and stay on it.For balance you need to work on your core abs. Pilates and tai chi are excellent!There are lots of videos on YouTube. 10 minutes each a few times a week would be very beneficial.
Challenge your self and see how long you can stand on one leg. Make a game out of it and keep trying to increase your time. Stay near something to grab on to if needed.
Because of shitty New England weather I spent some of my day on this treadmill. It has arms or rails on each side. I try to not use these as handles. But I am aware that I might trip and would need to grab them for stability. So I walk at various speeds and then walk at various inclines. I can feel tension in my lower back that gets worse the longer I'm on the machine. I assume my proprioception is improved by this exercise.
I was greatly aided by a physical therapist specializing in Neuro. He had me on the balance board and similar devices. Also included basic quigon. Also had me on the Wii game (skiing, tipping balls into pockets and catching Flying fish
