I have an appt with Dr Mischley mid December. May even go there in person in the future. Meanwhile, I have my van, and plan to take my health on the road. Here's my itinerary so far. Please contribute any other US based places you have heard good things about or better yet, been to yourself. (sadly Gerson Institute claims their protocol is not good for PD, so they are out)
Sohum Ayurveda in Asheville NC (not open till Feb, but taking bookings)
Hippocrates Wellness in West Palm Beach FL
The Chi Center in Santa Fe, NM
Esalen Institute, Big Sur, CA
True North Health Center, Santa Rosa, CA
House of Sanjevani, Santa Fe, NM
Feel free to share ones that are not in the US as well, and I will put them on the next list. Thank you all in advance, especially Park Bear for the Chi Center post!

I had pretty much immediate improvement with my Qigong experience. May not be typical, though. I do recommend signing up for a retreat rather than just paying a visit.
Apparently he teaches at Esalen every year as well. But that is only for a week. And the 3 week retreat is only in October, so we will see which of these pans out. JayPwP I am hoping it will all be helping.
In case you feel worse, there would be no way of knowing what to stop. You will end up stopping everything.
I understand your impatience. It seems that you have made up your mind to start everything together for faster healing but that is not the case. For example, Ayurvedic medicine may interfere or interact negatively with a lot of components. Even Ghee and Honey is poisonous if taken in equal amount at the same time. Just be cautious.
I would start with Laurie and Chi Centre, because Laurie will not interfere with Qigong and Mingtong will not interfere with the Supplement regime that Laurie advises to you. Give it 6 months for full effect and for your body to accustom and accept the new routine. Then add / remove another/ existing protocol.
Thank you Jay for your concern. The Ayurveda program will not be until June and it will be vegan . I don't consume anything that comes from fellow beings. My appointment with Laurie is in December. And I already booked the Hippocrates week for December as well. Everything else is up in the air.
Weather in Washington is cold and roads might be icy in mid December. Take care. Big Sur could be shut down as Highway 1 in CA during winter frequently takes big hits and they close access to Esalen. A bomb cyclone hitting west coast later today. I live in Seattle area. I'm sure you will, but check road closures and weather since you are traveling during winter and there can be some harsh road conditions.
Thank you for this excellent advice. I don't think I will make it to the west coast until later in February or more likely March. Maybe things will calm down by then. I have not even looked at Esalen's schedule yet. Have you been there before? Seems heavenly and super remote.
Hi, did you get an email with the dates as soon as you signed up to the mailing list? I haven't received anything from them yet since sign up several days ago, don't want to miss chance to apply?
Hi Gomelgo, do you mind me asking, how did your session with Laurie go? Did it take long to get to see her, I heard there is a very long waiting list. I still haven't managed to find a date for the retreat she runs but I am extremely keen to go.
