Night time drooling, second question added

Not a sexy subject, right?

I've used mouth tape for a long time to assist nose breathing. However now the drool at night unsticks the tape. I'm concerned for the effect on my skin on the side that gets most of the drool...

Sometimes, when I sleep through the night, I barely move and one morning had a little sore in the fold of skin by my mouth on that side.

Is there a product that will protect my skin on that side? I don't want to end up with a skin infection...

Second question, I'd like to find a mouth tape solution that stays put despite drooling. Anybody know how?

To continue nose breathing, and avoid dry mouth.

The best thing I've ever found for lip care is pure lanolin ointment. It's unbelievably thick, and it maintains the moisture in your skin while keeping excess moisture out. If I put it on at night, it's still there in the morning.

When I sleep on my back I don't drool. Sleeping on my side I drool.

I've never been able to sleep on my back. Extra saliva doesn't choke you? I suppose I could learn. It's also supposed to be good for back issues, which I have a bit of...
