I am having difficulty keeping my mouth closed all of the saliva that I’ve produced Runs down my face. Any advice to keep my mouth closed so I can swallow. I have no problem swallowing food. The saliva is excessive and my gums gums feel swollen. I can’t brush very well.

For brushing I suggest getting a WaterPik and a Braun motorized toothbrush. Good dental hygiene is essential and tends to suffer in Parkinson's patients.

My HWP uses atropine drops under his tongue prescribed by Neuro to reduce drooling. Every day at first, now more like every other day.

Posture helps - if I sit or stand tall then saliva does not drool. The typical Parkinson posture is dreadful for drooling! Try tongue exercises e.g.

My wife PWP 74 likes to chew on a small pretzel for temporary relief from drooling.

Can you rinse? Clorahexidine and hydrogen peroxide in alternation is more effective than on their own. And as for cleaning between the teeth, if a water pick and flossing picks won't work, oil pulling is good and spit out the contents. Brusing there are finger brushes or the sonic tooth brush or using a rag.
