I definitely wouldn't rely exclusively on these ratings, but maybe it's a start.
My mom has been to both. She left Barrow when her doctor retired and now goes to Mayo where she has an MDS who she really likes. Mayo is much more convenient for her so that played into her decision. Also, she gets all of her other healthcare at Mayo. Have you checked to see what the wait time to get in to either place is? That might be a determining factor.
Good luck.
Have you read the results of the study carried out by the Mayo Clinic in 2019? It confirms my claim that 'Fast Walking' reverses Pd symptoms. Are you talking about something else?
I went to Mayo and Barrow right after diagnosis in Grand Junction. Impressed by both, but Mayo doc was an intern and told us she would be moving shortly and I didn't want to start a new relationship. Also, she wanted to start me off with agonists and I was more comfortable with C/D. Ended up with a doc at Barrow who is very empathetic (she became a doctor because she took care of her Mom with PD) and never makes me feel rushed. She does not encourage my B1 HDT, saying "you're making expensive pee). I have a zoom exam this week, would like to talk to her about Peter Tass' vibrating gloves and also FUS PTT.
