Experimental treatment for PD

Does anyone know anything about the clinical trials going on in the UK with Ambroxol as a treatment for PD (a repurposed cough medicine)? The preliminary results look good, but I can't find anything after 2021.

My husband Glen registered to take part in this trial back in June this year. I understand they were looking to recruit a couple of thousand people before the end of the year. I think Zella's husband also registered a little while before Glen did.

Glen was sent a saliva gene test kit which we returned but so far we have heard nothing further

Not sure if my husband was registered for it or not, but he suddenly received his genetic saliva test- one Sunday evening by email saying his PD wasn’t caused by defective genes! I can’t seem to find out if he was on the list or not. He does attend Queens Hospital, where the consultant in charge practices, but it isn’t his one.
