there was a post while ago re a research to cure parkinson which was going to phase 3. I am looking for that article. Can anyone help?
Also, My husband started anti-inflammatory diet for about three month now. He lost weight which is good and tremor is much less. Did anyone ever experience the same?

for example he does not eat any citrus, no cow milk and instead he is drinking almond milk. the diet is full of antioxidant. He does not follow any specific thing however; he checks online for everything he eats to ensure it is not inflammatory. e.g. oat milk is inflammatory.
Well, only in that high sugar (like diabetes) in your blood makes PD worse. But it is more than that. When your brain cells use ketones instead of glucose for metabolism they run more efficiently. It protects them from dying as fast.
Well, no research has actually SHOWN that, except cyclamates, in rats not humans, at HUGE doses, something like the equivalent of 400 cans of diet soda a day. But they do keep looking, because it seems it must be true.
I just figure we know sugar is terrible, and that has been studied. And it's especially bad for PD. So for me it's no contest.
I have been going gluten free and sugar free for 7 years now. My gas and arthritis was better in several months. Think I had leaky gut too and my eyes burned so much before this. They still do when I take gluten homemade bread from the oven, but I still make it for others
