Interesting.
It reminded me of something that was presented as a cure for Parkinson's - in India as far as I remember.
It consisted of eating garlic (very rich in Sulfur) on an empty stomach, one clove on the first day, two the second day, three the third day... and so on until 21 cloves on the 21st day. Then backwards during 21 days. Parkinson's cured in 6 weeks (*)
I did not try. Any volunteer?

it reminded me of that, too. i think it was in one of the comments on fred phillips' blog.
I did 3 days of the garlic. Just couldn't stomach it. But boy if it cured me I'd be grateful. Anyone do 21 days?
3 days i.e 3 cloves? You'r such a small player Beverly
There is a side effect though, if you go through the whole process : you wake up cured, but talking with a French accent.
My husband just started taking msm and says he feels good. Does anyone know if it's ok to take msm with Parkinson's meds (azilect, sinemet, pramipexole)?
Hi Parkie13, The article was exploring the benefits of hydrogen sulfide. It did not mention MSM. The only association is the sulfur they have in common. Is this why you connected the two? (I guess if it were as simple as that, we could chug sulfuric acid for its health benefits. Okay, just kidding )
Has anyone tried MSM Sulfur?
I used it for quite a while years ago. I bought it in bulk at the health food store, MSN is an inexpensive product. I dissolved it in water and just drenked it. It unstuffed my nose so I was able to breathe easily. You don't want to take it before going to bed or it might keep you awake. I never had any side effects from it. Did not know it was a precursor of glutathione but it makes sense. It is also good for parasites in your gut, bacterial or small parasites.

Good article on MSM
Msm is a precursor to glutathione. So is the sulphur in garlic. Very powerful stuff in our fight.
“MSM’s sulfur also plays an important role in the production of glutathione, considered to be a “master antioxidant” and an important agent for detoxification.”
