That is a very interesting read. Lot's of people tried it but nobody came back to report. As I still see these people on HU I am guessing it did not help.
I saw they got it in San Anselmo. Snow in San Anselmo is one of my favorite songs. youtu.be/lpcsThJEgWM
A while back when I was researching this article, I read about Yokukansan which is used in Japan for PD.

Potential Application of Yokukansan as a Remedy for Parkinson's Disease
I actually bought the sachets for my HWP but we never tried them bc I could not find out enough info regarding interactions with other drugs, supplements or health conditions. There is a package insert in Japanense. Also, I would not know if this is a "forever" treatment or it is something you use for a period of time.
However, several adverse drug reactions have been reported; they occurred in 136 cases (4.3%) in total among 3,156 patients treated with YKS (Hisada et al., 2014). In addition, pseudohyperaldosteronism should be paid attention because YKS contains Glycyrrhiza. In parallel with clinical trials, basic research can now explain several of the neuropsychopharmacological effects of YKS ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...
I recall, wanting to try "Xifengzhizhan pills and Xifengzhizhan capsules", but I was unable to find a source,
These ara all interesting findings if we could source them or find a good TCM willing to treat us with them. I keep the posts...
Traditional Chinese Medicine
"Cure" is a pretty drastic claim. Of course we do all hope for the best. What do people think?
I am taking my wife to a Chinese traditional medicine doctor this weekend and will update the group on what she says. We've been to her years ago before my wife's diagnosis and she's very thorough. Worth a try.
