Sunday June 19th at 2 PM Eastern I will be facilitating a video call to go over Ceylon Cinnamon to slow down (stop?) PD over on FB: facebook.com/groups/rbdpd
Our starting point will be park_bear 's excellent post: Report: Ceylon Cinnamon Relieves Parkinson's Motor Impairment. Evidence Suggests Remedy of Underlying Disease healthunlocked.com/cure-par...

Disease modification takes a lot longer than symptomatic relief from prescription medicine we are accustomed to. It takes a couple of months for benefits to become manifest.
About a week after I started taking 1-2 teaspoons daily of Ceylon cinnamon, I began getting cramps in my lower legs overnight. I stopped the cinnamon and the cramps stopped. I'm not certain that it it was due to the cinnamon, I will test a few more times.Has anyone else experienced something similar?
Very sorry this is happening. I believe I saw one other report linking edema to cinnamon on this site but I cannot find it now. Be that as it may, I moved the edema warning toward the top of the cinnamon post to make sure others will be on the lookout.
I was actually looking for the real Scotty saying "I'm giving her all she's got, Captain" but could not find it. I'm starting to think Scotty probably never actually said those words.
Notes from the Sunday June 19th video call to go over Ceylon Cinnamon to slow down (stop?) PD:
My notes are not good as my attempt to record the call only captured one side of the audio (I have figured out what I did wrong).
Basically we determined:
1: There does not seem to be anything new on Ceylon Cinnamon and PD in the last few years. Park Bear covered everything very well in this post: healthunlocked.com/cure-par...
2: Ceylon Cinnamon is cheap, tastes great, and has little risk (read Park Bear's post about edema and autoimmune concerns).
3: At least 4 of us on the call are taking Ceylon Cinnamon every day (I have a level tsp twice a day (about 4.4 grams) in my peanut butter snack. (I won't post other participants dosages, but they are free to share.
4: We talked about some other things but thanks to my audio recording goof I don't have those.
