Why has B1 as TTDF been Black-Listed by the Research Community?

*** I ended up with High Blood Pressure taking TTFD. I no longer take TTFD. Based on my experience, I would not recommend TTFD. ***

Why is there so little reliable data?

The only reliable data, I can find is: A sport enhancing study; “Conclusion; TTFD could significantly improve physical activities”, I question the dose recommended as intended for the general population. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl... (Is Sports more important than the rise of Neurological Diseases). I am thinking - we can eliminate the rise of (by fortifying processed food with a small portion of B1 as TTDF), similar to vaccination for measles did in the civilized world. But; the world does not need a bunch of Rain-Man running around loose unmediated.

How does a mire barefoot country boy touched a little like “Rain-Man” get the attention of the Research Community (MJFF, NIH, Sinclair, etc.)? I mention Sinclair, because I do take some of his stuff, not to look younger or to stay young, but because I want a younger healthier brain. I did quit metformin because after a few days, I notice an increased in my brain fog and maybe he needs to reevaluate metformin as a way to control blood sugar (did I just bring diabetes may benefit from fortifying, I think so).

I have been told, “You are possessed by a demon”. My response, “If possessed, I hope by God”.

From my experience:

- My blood test from day 3; was elevated, nearly 10-fold over the average results for B1.

- Mosquitoes no longer love me, a supposed benefit of B1 that never happened for me even at 500mg B1 as hcl.

- Is TTDF just a Placebo, I don’t think so. Maybe, in my first days of taking TTDF when I experience complete elimination of PD symptoms was (I may never get back to that point).

Added:__ My theory: TTDF has been shown to be 100% absorbed by analysis of human urine. Does this mean all was absorbed by your body, no? Any bacteria in gut may have absorbed some and their waste must also be processed by your body (therefore best taken on empty). TTDF crosses the BBB. Basically only the first T makes it (the TDF must be processed as waste in your liver). My assumption is your whole blood cells has been absorbed in abundance the T. Your whole blood cells (with abundant T) are responsible for carrying T across your BBB.

That said: We all have some bipolar where you fall on the normal healthy brain classifies you as bipolar, in my case I fall (trend) toward bipolar, I had problems with mania and had to restart my mood stabilizer.

Final comment, maybe it doesn’t belong on this forum, maybe it’s rambling on about nothing, but I think God is telling me: We are all God’s Children, He loves us, He wants the Best for us; Why can’t we all get along.

I say research is needed: we need a safe means of introducing TTDF to general public and a safe plan to introduce to PwP to avoid overdosing. I am not a doctor, discuss with your doctor before taking anything. Don’t be like me; I am not good at following my own advice.

Hi there, When I asked my husband’s neurologist what he thought of us trying the B1 protocol, he said yes, we should. There’s no research into it, as there’s no money in it. You can’t patent a vitamin and most of the research is done by the pharmaceutical companies. Mind you, B1 is pretty complicated, particularly B1 Hcl. Doing a trial would be very difficult. The MJFF did look at it and decided against it.

Mannitol is another example. Mannitol has been used in hospitals for brain injuries and brain surgery since the 1970s.

No research had been done since then till recently. It was in Israel and had almost no funding. It turned my husband’s life around. (see my post).

B1 500 mg from iHerb (google them). I would increase slowly by 100mg (also from iHerb). till you get an effect. Mannitol I sourced here in Australia from a wholesaler. It’s the Sosa brand out of Spain. It’s used as a diabetic sweetener. You may be able to buy direct. Otherwise google for other suppliers. It can be expensive from some companies if it’s being used for Parkinson’s. I hope this helps.

Hi Gwendoline - can you tell me if the Syncolein brand and website are still good to use. I did go and read your original post. I want to start my husband on this as soon as possible. We are in the US so I figured we would try the Syncolein if it is a reputable source.

Thanks,

Shaunna & Ron

No, the Syncolein site no longer exists. The guy that ran it had developed severe health problems and couldn’t manage it any longer, he told me.

Some members got it from Bulk Supplements in the US.

Yes, my husband takes 1tbs. in coffee. But, it’s now, after 2 years, not working as it did. He has other health issues, including heart problems and I feel his apathy is returning. Still, 2 years without any deterioration is pretty good.

Good luck,

Gwendoline

I am so glad I asked you first about it. I did find the site but it looked strange and I sure didn’t want to order it without checking with you. I had ordered the Mannitol Balance brand from Amazon yesterday, which we should have delivered to us tomorrow. I am happy that it did help your husband for several years. Thank you very much for responding so quickly!! Will be thinking of you and your husband.Thank you again, Shaunna

Also I meant to ask is your husband still using the 1 table spoon in his coffee each day? Shaunna

TTDF falls in category of no money in it for big Pharma. I figure Fox has tried B1 as hcl and it did did not work for him, therefore lack of interest by MJFF. I plan to edit this post, with links to my previous days on taking TTFD, with a list of yet disclosed other stuff (I have not compiled a list yet) and email research funding at MJFF. Who knows it may trigger some interest.

I have no idea of best form of B1 or dose, I will say B1 as hcl did nothing for me at 300mg once a day (some months ago).
