That some people need other minerals for B1 to work properly. I did not understand what ‘gittery’ meant Until it happened to me. I had been taking B1 for a while and I began feeling jittery. Started a good quality multi mineral/ vitamin as well Gittery symptoms stopped.
All I can say is that it has and is working for me.
I do want any relevant comments. Fast walking does help, but I still had to increase my C/L with it, which was depressing because it meant by PD was getting worst.
Less rigid, helps with pain. Mosquitoes still like hubby. B1 HCL Good results within 1-2 weeks. After 3 months went off of B1 HCL for 2 weeks then back on. Periodically stop B1 HCL for 2 weeks and go back on with same dosage which is 2 B1 in morning and 2 B1 in afternoon before 2pm.
Hi, (1.) Yes, energy boost (2). IDK ( 3 ) All pain disappears ( 4 ) no ( 5 ) not sure ( 6.) 4 years ago started at 4 grams a day, now down to about 1 gram a week
(7) yes, have overdosed, --gradually balance deteriorates, rising from a seated position becomes difficult, and jitteriness ( 8 ) I'm on SolgarThiamine HCL
I've been giving that to my husband who has PD. He takes the Solgar B1 HCL also - 500 mg. 1-2 times a day. I need to be better about logging his results. Should we be consistent in taking two a day one morning one night?
As weird as this sounds, if he is feeling decent the way you're doing things now, just continue doing what you are doing till he starts feeling worse. I find the more I mess with things that don't need changing, the worse I feel with B1.
1. Boost in energy? Yes2. Mosquitos/ mitges in Ireland seem to be all dead with the weather, anyhow...i have no bites this year...good sign
3. My balance was restored arm swing ok, drag foot restored...central pain still there. No depression.
4.No B1 test. Not available on my social insurance
5. Yes. Too many good reports so need to be researched.
6. I was a year on 3000mg hcl but very difficult and expensive to source
Then 6 mths on 100mg sublimgual again prices went up..
7. Then i tried TTFD...100mg day toooooo much 100mg every 2 days too much. All my pains and symptoms exacerbated...not sure now if it was Ttfd...cant split the capsules...figuring out how to restart
My 50mg is fairly easy to split in 1/3rds. I cut a hole in one end of cap with an x-acto knife and pour by eyesight 1/3rd in 3 size 00 caps. Then adjust the lowest from the highest. My 50mg is much smaller than the 00cap so very little waste. I use walmart.com/ip/Allithiamine... I am currently at 1/2 of the 50mg. The size 00caps aren't expensive. My objective is to get pass taste buds (00 caps could hold much more). Pic at healthunlocked.com/cure-par...
I was taking care of my father who was diagnosed with PD. In India doctor took several years to identify the actual problem about 2-3 years. In the meantime the disease got worse. On this platform I got to know about using thiamine hydrochloride. Then I research it online, consulted here with my doctor who has no idea of it. Then I met with an Italian doctor who has a vast experience in this field and had a quite high success rate who advised me about correct dose to be taken. It was 2 ml IV per week and the condition started improving. He started eating food, his balance improved. But he was very weak due to continuous treatment of 4 years, may be he got fed up with all of this. Never saw him sick or taking a day off from his government job. Very brave. Last year I lost him due to covid-19.
I haven’t had great luck with B1, But as I mentioned I’m going to try the TTDF version. I just got it today so I should be able to compare soon I hope. 1. Yes. Not off the charts but definitely better.
2. That’s a good question. Maybe it has helped. I was out the other evening and didn’t get bitten. Normally I would’ve been covered with bites. In fact I wasdreading looking at myself when I went inside figuring I was going to be covered with bites but nothing. Could’ve been the timing or the B1!
3. No darn it.
4. No
5. I’m not sure if it’s an issue of further research or actual attention. Maybe further research in the form of clinical trials that are run exactly correctly etc. etc. something that will impress the medical establishment.
I’m convinced that it does work. And I’m so glad it’s helping people. Realistically it’s not going to help every single person perhaps but still the information out there is impressive.
But so many of the doctors are just not into it at all.
6. Still haven’t. I’ve tried to go higher and lower. And it’s possible another brand would work better or maybe the other kind.
