*** I ended up with High Blood Pressure taking TTFD. I no longer take TTFD. Based on my experience, I would not recommend TTFD. ***

Doing good, only have a slight tremor but I’m not spilling my coffee. I got my average sleep of 7 hours last night (unfortunately I am approaching from bottom side of average). Since this is being posted as a new thread, I won’t be posting as often, maybe not unless a change to report.

Still at: 16.65mg B1 as 1/2 of 50mg TTDF**, 2-1/2 C/L twice a day, same mood stabilizers, 4caps 133mg of TRAACS Mag.

*I am developing an excel spreadsheet. To get agreement: I had to change start date to date before I started (Day 0). I will be using the day determined by spreadsheet from now on.

** Taste awful, I do not recommend taking 1/2 of contents as powder.

Text of email I sent to my MS

Subject: FURSULTIAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE is a FDA-approved drug

FURSULTIAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE is a FDA-approved drug ( drugs.ncats.io/drug/T3557LWB27 ) for treatment of Alzheimer’s. Have you heard of it? Could you prescribe it off label for Parkinson’s? Not that I want to, I am very pleased with the results, I am having with TTDF.

Looks like they have attached a HCL to TTDF, Wonder if that makes the drug more powerful than TTDF or was it just a way of getting around patenting a supplement?

Anyway, I am stable on 16.65mg of B1 as in half of a cap of a 50mg cap of TTDF a day. The stuff in the cap taste awful, so I’m splitting into empty 00 caps to get around taste buds.

I still have dry mouth (cotton mouth); I won’t be getting Botox injections during my next visit on 7/14. I am interested if you can tell, if I have improvement.

Not sure why drugs.ncats.io/drug/T3557LWB27 doesn't show as link, You can copy/paste and it will take you to a page about the drug.

You take TTDF every day now or every other...?

I cut a hole in one end of a cap and pour 1/2 in 2 size 00 caps. I take everyday. The hardest part is putting size 00 caps together.

I started filling caps when I wanted to try 1 every 3days, I have since gone back to 1/2 and feel 1 every other day is fine.

Some points that may be loss because of starting a new thread.

1) With the rise of Neurological Diseases, I think fortifying processed foods with a small portion of B1 as TTDF, would be a great step toward reducing the rise (in need of Formal Research).

2) My theory: TTDF has been shown to be 100% absorbed by analysis of human urine. Does this mean all was absorbed by your body, no? Any bacteria in your gut may have absorbed some (and any bacterial waste must be processed by your body (therefore best taken on empty)). TTDF crosses the BBB. Basically only the first T makes it (the TDF must be processed as waste in your liver). My assumption is your whole blood cells have absorbed an abundance the T. Your whole blood cells (with abundant T) is responsible for carrying T across your BBB. Much in the same way red blood cells carry oxygen . We can talk about increasing blood supply to the brain. Maybe what’s needed is quality, not quantity. (in need of Formal Research)

3) I believe my Dry Mouth is due to Botox injections, to help with drooling on 4/12. As I understand drooling in PD is due to not recognizing you need to swallow and not there to much salvia.

4) I believe the funky taste in my mouth is greatly increased by Dry Mouth.

5) I also, think dry mouth is the reason for my bad tooth.

6) The side effect of TTDF causing bad breath has not been noticed, by anyone I have asked. I also have not noticed anybody leaving the room like when I tried DSMO (horse med for aching joints).

7) At no point (even with as little as an hour’s sleep in 72hrs) did I feel I was unable to function (energy level high and mood good). I got about 7.2 hours sleep last night.

8) We are all God’s children, He loves His creations; He wants the Best for us. Why can’t we all get along?

God Bless the USA, God Bless Ukraine…. PTL. Praise the Lord…

Added: I doubt if will ever get back to my early days of "wondering if I had PD or was I B1 deficient", That was placebo or mania.

+* 6/25 day 39 of B1 as in TTDF:

Didn’t sleep, but about 5.3hr (while up in wee hours of the night I took Advil&Tylenol, Muscle relaxer (my bad neck was bothering me), also took 2 Sleep-Aid* before trying to go back to sleep. This morning no tremor (must be the Sleep-Aid). I have been reporting a slight tremor (It’s not bothersome, but I would normally be considering increasing my C/L). I have been taking an extra C/L in the afternoon of the dance.

+* Just made 3ea 1/3rds for the next 3 days and threw the 1/2 for tomorrow in the toilet (the bacteria in my septic tank can probably use a little B1, lol).

Yesterday I did a search for healthunlocked.com/cure-par... and found ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl... .

*Sleep-Aid is Benadryl “Many of the drug therapies such as Benadryl (diphenhydramine), Advil PM, Alleve PM, common antihistamines, and others pills are readily available over the counter and do not require a prescription. These medications block a cholinergic receptor in the brain, and can improve many Parkinson’s disease symptoms.” parkinson.org/blog/whats-ho.... So, Maybe Benadryl is a better choice before dance than an extra C/L (I already take Advil&Tylenol).

I would recommend instead of diminishing to 1/3rds for the next every day, just take the 1/2 dose every third day.. Your system might need some rest..

I decided this morning to take a break of at least one day. I have not taken any today.

+* 6/26 day 40 of taking B1 as TTDF:

First, I did not follow B1 protocol. I just read what Dap1948 wrote in her book (I had glance thru the first time, maybe I should say reread). I did not take the Week(s) at changed dose or wash out periods after overdosing.

I also did not take the 1/3rd cap intended for this morning. Mainly because this morning, I felt I could possibly go back to bed. Second and maybe most important, to lower a dose that’s too high, for a quicker response in my sleep - I should take at least a day off.

My bad neck is (Snap! Crackle! Pop!)ing, but I have not taken anything for pain. And, this afternoon my tremor has disappeared (maybe the pain and tremor were signs of overdose).

The following maybe my tendency toward rambling on about nothing:

Dry Mouth: I believe Botox injections for drooling is responsible for my dry mouth. And, dry mouth enhances the funky taste in my mouth (funky, not completely unlike the taste of TTDF powder).

Tooth: 1) I believe dry mouth is responsible for my tooth. My dentist is in his 80’s and some of his equipment is outdated. Two rounds of one antibiotic and one round of a 2nd did not completely heal the abscess. I have been taking Opti-Zinc to help my body fight off the infection; today there is only a small place on my jaw that is noticeable. I have been chewing on the other side and not drinking any sweetened beverages. 2) I was considering a root canal and crown. Last week my dentist referred me to another, that dentist said all three teeth in his x-rays needs attention. It’s a good thing he does not pull teeth because I was ready to have it pulled. The tooth is still sweet sensitive, but I have been using salt water to tighten and help clean out infection. I may have to continue the salt water until the Botox wears off.

PTL! We are all God’s Children; He loves His Creations - why can’t we all get along?

Dap1948 for what ever reason I was unable to tag above.

One import question to ask about before switching B1 or choosing which to start is "how easy is it to take a lower dose than what's in bottle". Caps are not easy to take daily at a reduced dose. I first overdosed on 50mg cap of TTDF. I overdosed again on homemade caps of 1/2 that. I plan to go back in a few days at 1/3.
