High cost of Parkinson disease drugs

Hello everyone,

Please does anybody know of any organization that may be able to subsidize cost of Parkinson disease drugs in Africa, the drugs are beyond the rich of most sufferers.

Nourianz a PD drug for off episodes when taking carbidopa/levodopa does offer a deep discount. C/L is generic should not be too expensive.

Thanks for your response Sydney. however c/l becomes expensive when you are on a higher dosage, As for the other drug, Its too expensive, no generic brand and not yet available in my country. Thanks a lot.

Sorry to here that, I read the EU has not approved Nourianz yet, but if they do it had a very deep discount. C/L has been around a while that should be something the WHO can get cheaply for other countries, we seem to barter for everything.
