Today I purchased one Kg velvet beans (mucuna), and ground it into powder. Before taking my first dose I searched over the Internet to make sure that I am using the correct method. I came across a clinical study (report link below) , which says that first the beans are roasted and peeled off. Then it is ground into powder.
Has anyone experience with making the mucuna powder
Are you taking a D.I.Y. approach to save money, or because you don't trust the mucuna powders that are widely available commercially? It seems like an awful lot of work.
You need to know what you are doing. Buy it from reputable source it works out quite reasonable. Zandopa is what my husband takes and once you figure out the dose it works well
Dumpelkin I do trust the manufacturers of powder , but I live in a country where Amazon does not provide their supply. Mucuna seeds are avialable here abundantly. It costs 4 USD a kg. I have finally found an article on making powder at home. It's very easy and I successfully made powder using the instructions. The link is below
I have started talking the powder processed by myself since 2 days and feeling much better today. I am taking 10 grams daily. Not sure whether the benefits are due to the powder and will continue or not
