Dr. Albert Wright was an advocate of sulforaphane, and recommended his broccoli seed tea, which I have been taking for just under a year. It has helped my invisible symptoms. Although he passed away in January, his family advocated publishing his information. resolveparkinsons.org/dedic...

The question is: does broccoli seed tea help? (PS: Sowell is right about that.)

The Surface Your Real Self guy does not make broccoli seed tea. He eats broccoli sprouts.

That is what I do also. I have a bowl of sprouts with some oil and apple cider vinegar dressing I make with honey and garlic powder. It is good. Worst case scenario I have a tasty salad every day.

I know Albert went with the tea. From my correspondence with Albert the advantage of the tea is that it makes the sulforaphane in the cup and does not rely on your body having the enzymes needed to make sulforaphane. The thing is, most people do have that enzyme.

Almost all of the research on sulforaphane seems to be just eating broccoli sprouts or making broccoli sprout smoothies.

I just don't want people to think the tea is the only option.

I will shut up now.

I'm curious, have you considered, or trued, making mustard seed sprouts along with broccoli seed?

I have thought of sprouting other things that have sulforaphane but since almost all of the research is done with broccoli I just stick with that. Besides, I don't think I would enjoy a mustard sprout salad as much as my broccoli sprout salad :)

I just sprouted some broccoli seeds together with a little bit of mustard seeds. I'll let you know how they taste.

Good for you, sprouting. It's not as hard as it seems before you try it.
