Please could you send me information about the effects of food on PWP. I feel better if I eat less often and was wondering if this is a common situation.
What foods must be avoided?
Fried food can make me feel awful.
Sugary foods are ok in moderation.
I keep a food diary.

I am vegetarian n grow my own. I eat no processed food. I make everything.
The dependence on ready mmade processsed food i believe is detrimenta to gd health.
I have cut out bread ( mostly) and in france it is unprocessed bread.
Ready prepared veg is so cleaned, salted etc it lasts in the fridge. Fresh cut lettuce wilts in a day- what do they put on it. No wonder obesity is on the rise.
Thank you for your kindness and understanding. I live in Indonesia with my wife, she has taught me to eat fresh food not processed food. I cannot tolerate some types of food such as Beef, Pasta and Eggs.However, it seems to me that almost everything that I eat has an effect on my condition , more food equals more symptoms. I think that food particles are getting into my system because of leaky gut. If I eat less, I feel better...
The biggest help for me was an Anti-inflammatory diet. This is pretty similar to a Mediterranean diet -Start with cutting out sugar and gluten/wheat and processed foods. I use local unprocessed honey as a sweetener in moderation. That kind of honey is anti-inflammatory
-cut out anything that’s got preservatives or chemicals added to it.
-Limit your coffee, alcohol, dairy, red meat intake
-Eat lots of veggies especially the ones in the cruciferous family
-Add healthy fats like olive oil, avocados, coconut oil in moderation, nuts(Watch for additives) and fatty fish.
-Watch ur carb intake. My carb intake would include quinoa, brown rice, sweet potato, potato (Limited), tapioca, organic oats
I’m not trying to lose weight so I need carbs but I want them to be healthy carbs
This diet helps me with Pain or inflammation problems from PD. I also just feel much healthier and My immune system is better It’s also very important to have your digestive system healthy and that you’re having regular bowel movements and not over eating or not eating after certain time in the evening because our digestive systems are sluggish so it takes more time to get rid of food in our system. Which also affects our medicine absorption.
I read a book maybe 20 years ago called 'The Testosterone Syndrome' or something similar. Written by a doctor. He wrote that Cruciferous veg kept testosterone from being converted into estrogen. The chemic agent is di-indolyl methane (DIM) available in an OTC tablet. It gets complicated and I may not have complete idea. Aromatase is the enzyme that converts T to E. DIM blocks aromatase. Bottom line is more available testosterone in the body and less estrogen.
