GP said she couldn't prescribe directly as had to consult with a neurologist, guess what, neurologist has suggested Rotigotine patch, aargh! Clearly having browsed this forum I've declined. GP expected this as I told her I didn't want a DA.

Can anyone please advise on best way to taper off rotigotine completely

Has anyone used a Rotigotine patch for restless legs?

Can Pregabalin alone replace Rotigotine? For me, Tramadol works once per month For how long after stopping Rotigotine do the side effects and symptoms continue so aggressively?

I have been using prescribed Rotigotine patches for a few years now up to 4mgs, have peeps found them helpful?

DR. prescribed Rotigtine, 1mg every 24hrs patch. I've declined "not" to take it for fear of effects down the road. I guess the Dr thought at my age (74) I may not be around by the time severe effects "could" happen.. So my question is, seeing that I have a 90 day supply (VA automatically sends persciptions

I was on 2mg rotigotine and mentioned that with increased pregabalin my rls should improve It hasn’t. She told me to reduce rotigotine to 1mg at this point. so I’m sitting here at 2.45 am with chronic rls. im tempted to increase rotigotine to 2mg but May regret it.

So it's Rotigotine or nothing. Currently on 300mg pregabalin, asked if I could combine Gabapentine and Pregabalin and that was a firm no. So I am 74, thinking I should try the patch, what say you??

I’m on rotigotine patches, Tramadol and pregabalin but yesterday the GP suggested amitriptyline on top of this lot. I always check drugs I’m prescribed so I went online when I got home only to see that there were some reports suggesting amitriptyline is a no no for RLS.

I was prescribed Madopar and Pramipexole which later was replaced with Rotigotine transdermal patches. I had a very strong but paradoxical reaction to all three dopaminergic medications and eventually l ended up in A&E where my dose was increased thus making my life more difficult.

I'm on rotigotine patches (I think I'm augmenting), Tramadol and pregabalin.

Also, one article mentions Rotigotine Transdermal Patch, Burosumab-twza Injection, and Ropinirole. [u]Not knowing what med, or if they change it at all, would be best. [/u]These articles, if time taken, are inciteful as to the way they look at RLS. Some comments I find sadly amusing.

I was previously on pramipexole, pregabalin and rotigotine patches. Currently on gabapentin and medical cannabis. Sadly, while they do relief symtomps to a certain extent, I can still hardly get any sleep and it’s just becoming rather unmanageable.

Neupro/ rotigotine 2mg 24hrs patches, pregabalin 25mg 2 morn/ 4 night, tapendol SR 10mg night, and tapendol 10mg IR take when needed. will I get withdraw symtoms from stopping sifrol although I am on the patches? thank you in advan ce.

I have taken Mirapex and Rotigotine with horrible augmentation symptoms upon stopping. I have also taken Gabapentin with terrible side effects. I also have tried several opioids in the past. I have taken Belbuca for the past several years.

I am keen to come off these patches because of moderate skin irritation and the fear of augmentation.My Sleep Physician has prescribed Gabapentin 300mg 3 times a day whilst tailing off the Rotigotine. How slowly should I tail off the Rotigotine, is it ok to cut the patches to reduce the dose?

So tempted to start Rotigotine but could feel a lot worse. I know we are all different. Bur I'm in a very bad way.
