I was watching a talk on YouTube re. exercise and PD. I learnt that balance has every bit as much to do with strength and integrity of leg muscles, your glutes and lower back. It’s not just about balancing exercises. So I’m back to squatting with weights and I suggest that you all do this too.🤔

Balance tip
Good idea!
Very good idea. Also, if you stand like a boxer with 1 foot ahead of the other, it will help you from falling. In a safe place, try both ways and you'll feel the difference. Stand with your feet beside each other & then lean in a bit and you'll feel like you're going to fall (you may want to be close to a wall) and then try it with your left foot ahead about 6 -10 inches ahead and you should have better balance from falling forward.
Agreed Adam, strength/weights training also engages stabilising muscles, which helps with balance, you don't see strong runners or bike riders, they all look like they would blow over in a light wind, however they have the stamina of an ox, im of the firm belief strengthening at minimum the core will assist with dyskinesa, its not a popular opinion on this forum and that's ok but this type of activity is the best base to start from to assist with PD symptoms, because you can go in any direction from there. Id rather this over supplementation any day of the week, unless your body is deficit then supplements are expensive and a waste of money because your just going to piss them out in the toilet. Exercise on the other hand forces the body to adapt and get better, stronger and you know what? Your body will thrive......just got to keep going
