Legs feel like wood

Sometimes I wake up during the night with my feet and calves feeling like wood. The only thing I've found to help is to get up and walk a bit or sit in this chair with my feet in a massager. If one used a tens device in bed would that help?

Hello Robjohn

I use the tens during evenings while sitting on the couch. It temporarily stops the "on" toe dystonia.

Sorry it doesn't answer your question but this will put your post at the top of the newsfeed where other members might answer.

Good luck

Kind regards

Check and see if the legs are swollen due to edema. If so you may need compression stockings or may need different medications.
