Quercetin as a precautionary step in case corona virus becomes widespread?

Just wondering about starting taking quercetin for inflammation just in case the virus spreads here and medical facilities are overrun. What do others think? I see steroids like in asthma inhalers are not recommended as they stop the body mounting an effective defence.

Epigallocatechin looks useful too.

Any other ideas?

By definition any anti-inflammatory reduces the activity of the immune system, although some more so than others. China is putting maximum effort into figuring out what will work for this new virus - see this story: arstechnica.com/science/202...

Since we are not in the middle of the contagion zone, I personally am choosing to watch and wait.
