Has anyone else had problems with increased symptoms during the hot weather ? My husband is really struggling, not able to move , taken extra medication but doesn’t seem to help ☹️

Hello ruff1. Yes my husband had to much sun and his shaking of the hand increased and he started shuffling more. He appeared to be more confused too. His symptoms have improved this morning after a night’s sleep. Hope your husband has improve this morning too. Sending hugs

John is better this morning but it’s still cool here in Leicestershire, expected to be hot again later on then cooler tomorrow onwards 😀

So pleased that your husband has improved. It is looking a hot day with forecast of thunderstorms. Hopefully, that will improve the humidity for our loved ones. Take care

This may not be advisable to others, but I have always figured that whatever my body is having trouble with is what I "convince" it to eventually do by first finding what I may be doing or not doing that is exacerbating the inability, handling that, then cutting the gradient way back of doing that action (in this case, doing things in spite of the heat), then gradually increasing how much of that action I have the body do.

This can involve finding out why it won't do what I want, and remedying that point or points, then having the body do what I want a tiny bit, then gradually increasing my demands on it. This approach demands staying constantly and closely aware of one's health as one applies this approach, preferably under the supervision and approval of one's health professional(s).

Dealing with heat requires staying hydrated, maintaining needed minerals (in my case, cell salts and potassium) and all precautions mentioned above.
