I was just wondering about melatonin in Sleep. Does it improve your sleep by sleeping throughout the 7 hrs ? Does it stop the breaking of the sleep? Can a non pd person take it?
I will also like to know how long it takes for ones’s stiffness to go away after taking madopar? I understand its different for everybody..

Melatonin can help with sleep but you are not meant to take it more than 3 nights in a row. I think madapor worked quite quickly but the stiffness comes back between doses and overnight.
I take 3mg of Melatonin when I'm desperate, not more than twice weekly. Take an hour, or more before bed. I get a full 8 hrs sleep. For a more natural approach, have a glass of organic tart cherry juice, as it contains naturally occurring Melatonin....it helps me too.
