My last (yesterday) blood test showed unusual levels of iron (490 ng/ml).
There was a study a few years ago by Dr Hirsch (France) about excess iron in the brain and Parkinson's. People talked about iron chelation, but I did not find much more.
Any clue ?

If you review Ferritin and Parkinsons’ , there are conflicting reports. It does seem that there’s is some relationship between Iron and Parkinsons’.
Reducing Ferritin levels can be achieved quite readily with chelating agents, such as (Deferiprone) and I can see no reason not to do this,however I suggest seeing a Haematologist first .
I have the same problem and will keep you informed.
In this video, the researcher says that ferritin is a safe storage protein (when the iron is bound to ferritin it does not participate in redox reactions):
