Doc Costantini. He is a wonderful doctor and human being (charitable). He has office in Italy. If you want to travel to his office for an appointment, he has office exam fee. IF you cannot or do not want to travel to Italy, he will help you via internet without charge. He speaks only Italian but has associate doctor and staff with English language.

(English to Italian - DeepL.com/Translator).

… he said that even if they couldn't come to his clinic, he could still try to treat them via email. He said he needed a copy of their medical records and a short video of them talking, pull test and a short video of them walking. Note: upload your videos to YouTube and then share with Doctor Antonio Costantini. He said the videos were not for him, but rather for the patient to watch every now and again so they could have a basis for comparison as time passed.

Dr. Costantini is very clear on the fact that patients who come to his office and are tested for thiamine level before starting on High Dose Thiamine (HDT) are typically in the normal range and then once they start HDT, their level goes very high. According to him, this is the norm in his HDT patients.

Thanks! Its better to take in powder from china or capsula 500 mg? Which company dr costsntini Recommend?

in reply to Bdekel

Bdekel,

The pills and capsules are more convenient than the powder and are accurate during the initial period of trying to find out what dose works for you. Once you have established your optimum dose and are stable, people have experimented with the pure powder form, but it is bitter and each dose has to be measured before mixing it with something sweet to offset the bitterness. Here is a link that will give you all the information you need about high dose thiamine including links to suppliers of all the forms of thiamine hcl.

If you start taking 4 grams/day it might be too much for you. It's better to email Dr C with your height and weight, a brief history and current general stage of your PD.

Too high an initial dose may set you back with "jitters" and anxiety. For the best way to contact him, check out the FAQ here: healthunlocked.com/parkinso...

I hope you're supplementing your B12. That is a low number and B12 deficiency can cause or exacerbate neurological issues.
