Hello......This is short because I'm not doing well. Does anyone know any tricks into using B 1 when you have high BP ? I need to constantly monitor mine because it is all over the place. I had to stop, or take very little B1, and now am falling a lot. Something I never did while on a dose o hi B1.

Next time it happened to me I was going to try the sublingual B1 formulation You can use a way smaller amount than a capsule.Buy the little book from Amazon by Daphne Brayan PHD.

Thanks, I was wondering about that. I have the book, and tried the sublingual a while ago. way before I got in this present mess. However, I am going to revisit and see what happens.

Falling as a result of motor impairment or loss of consciousness?

Loosing balance as I swing around the banister at the bottom of the stairs, or going over forward or backward during a freezing episode

Oh my. All I can think of is to find a way to get BP under control so you can take B1. Perhaps medication under guidance from a specialist.

I would definitely go back to the B1 Mononitrate. With that, you can probably get by with 100 mg or less per day which should resolve the increased blood pressure and the balance issues. If you still have HBP after switching to the dissolvable tablet, you can try an herbal blood pressure remedy called Carditone, which I use to keep my blood pressure well controlled when the highest dose of Amlodipine failed to get my blood pressure into a healthy range. Switching back to thiamine mononitrate dissolvable tablets should do it though.

Vitamin b1 HCL runs out in three or four hours in the blood. A minimum dose split throughout the day and drinking more water might help.

I was on 4000 mg B1 a day and my pressure required 2 bp meds to get under control.

I now take 1 or 2 sublingual B1 100mg per WEEK and am off any BP meds!

There's a tip for ya, then !!!

The best way to reverse Pd symptoms is to start walking as fast as you can, every second day, for a maximum of one hour. That will get you right and keep you there, as long as you keep walking!
