Well...
Just politely remind her that "Science" and "Opinion" are different matters.
And ask him the reference of the medical, peer-reviewed, publications about the inefficiency of B1 - and other supplements.

The only thing left for you then is the progression and ravages of PD.
The doc seems to love her prescription pad. All else be ignored.
that is what our neurologist said too ı asked if my dad should take b1 if it would help with pd he said no ı was rather disapointed to be frank
