I am a PD patient for last three years. I take rasagellin 1 mg once a day and pramirol SR 0.52 three tablets twice a day. From last 2 months i am facing nasal congestion and find difficult to breathe unless nasal spray is used. Moreover i am also finding difficult to empty my urinary bladder. Are these the side effects? I am unable to consult my neurologist due to lockdown. Pl respond with suggestive remedies

Nasal congestion and not emptying of urinary bladder
nasal sprays should not be used for longer than 7-10 days . You may have rebound congestion because you overused it. Call your primary. They should be able to advise you over the phone or do a telehealth visit

Hi, this is in regard to the nasal congestion. For many years I have suffered with it, as if I had a clothespin on my nose. Using MSM I solved the problem. Up above there's a link to an article from Walter Last on MSM.
You could try half a teaspoon three times a day dissolved in water.
Use a humidifier in your place
I've had trouble completely emptying my bladder at times. I find that if I focus on relaxing the muscles, and take my time, it helps. It also helps to stay well hydrated, my bladder has functioned better when full and I really need to go!
I have cut out dairy and the mucus congestion is gone. Milk, butter, cheese.
Though i am a good consumer of dairy products, but let me give it a try Thanks
I found out 4 years ago I had PD, and I had it for a year or more before I denoised. I don't have a problem with congestion I have nasal drip, and not emptying my bladder, I had that before I was denoised with PD. I was told I have a enlarged prostate, this is not a side affect of PD, just happens.
