HAL, Glad to hear it is benefitting you, but be aware of the downside: according to Dr. Daniel Amen, cannabis shrinks the brain. The habitual pot user has a smaller hippocampus, the center, in his words, of "memory, learning and moods," and the place where Alzheimer's disease starts. This is the same person who usually complains to Dr. Amen of memory problems. (I learned this tonight from the video "Regain Your Brain," episode #3.)

EDIT (Mach 4): The "fact" cited by Dr. Amen may be wrong. The research on the effect of Cannabis on brain structure is conflicting. It is hard for me to sort out the diverse research results on PubMed. But here is a credible summary from NBC news:

Cannabis shrinks the frontal cortex as well as the hippocampus where short term memory is stored. What some people may not realize also starting around age 40. The brain naturally shrinks about 5% every 10 years.

There is something to the Chemical make up. If it shrinks or goes dark I am trying to get through today. Thank you very much for the info. Is that lung introduced or digested because there is a big difference in benefits. I hardly vape anymore.

When I found that alprazolam was such a key player in me feeling better but was told by my Doctor that I would loose the effects eventually I had to find a way of slowing the brain.
