I also take requip and have gained 21 pounds. I am a very active person and walk 4 blocks away or use treadmill for 30 min. Stay when hot or rain, cold. Has anyone had this problem with this med?

How is your eating pattern? Some people report binge eating when on this. If you live with some body, they might have noticed a change that you haven't yet.
OHMYGOSH - have you come to the right place!! I've had PD for 15 years. About 3 years into my diagnosis I started taking Requip and INSTANTLY put on 20 pounds -- went from 150 to 170 in 3 weeks even though I curbed diet and was as you say very active! As I titrated up to 1mg QID, I put on ANOTHER 30 POUNDS in about a year's time. At that point, I said NO MORE REQUIP and I've not gained an ounce since. Bad news is, no matter WHAT I do, I can't lose more than 10 lbs --- and that's with a liquid diet. Back on food and the weight returns. Only way I kept 10 lbs off was having 2 ft of my colon + gall bladder & stones removed (a surgery I wouldn't recommend). I hope somebody somewhere out there has found a solution to this issue. It's a real downer to have to buy a new wardrobe when you have to buy 6 sizes up! I went from 14 to 22 in 12 months and NOTHING else changed!! Can't find much in the medical literature about this one either. Good luck (to both of us). Thanks SO MUCH for posting!
I gained too much weight on Mirapex which I hope to lose now that I'm off it and my appetite is back to normal
