My therapist called today and told me that she thinks it would be a good idea to take a break from our meetings. Why? Because I have been feeling much better emotionally ever since I hooked up with this Blogging Site. Thank you!

It all started with a panic attack. I'd never had a panic attack before. My wife wondered if it was a mini stroke. We drove over to the emergency room. The doctor in the emergency room told me that I was suffering from anxiety. I was prescribed an antidepressant. This was BEFORE I was diagnosed with Parkinson's. I was still having little panic attacks every morning. I went to see my doctor, who told me that I might have Parkinson's. Soon after that I linked up with the Michael J. Fox Foundation. During their screening process I mentioned that I was having serious bouts of depression. The doctor advised me to see a therapist. The therapist told me that I was struggling with acceptence.

A cure.........wouldn't that be awesome but considering the alternative.....hmmmm. Lost a former co-worker this week to cancer that spread from both breasts to lungs, stomach, bone and brain...only 55..........too young, too soon and way to fast! Almost makes PD pale in comparison. This site is an amazing source of info, comradarie

As you may be aware we try to keep in the background but do read all your posts each day ( or try to).

Just want to say how heartening it has been to read this blog (and some others over the last few months). Delightful

Enjoy the party, not long now.
