Not here, sorry. I've thought of it but have been afraid it would not be able to handle my poor enunciation.

I hope you get some meaningful responses on this queston!

hi, yes I use Dragon software,it is really useful. Yesterday I completed the 2500 word essay with it. No spelling mistakes which makes a change as my typing is quite poor. I often hit the wrong key by mistake and then have to spend ages correcting it.

At only £50. It was excellent value and I use it all the time.

Great to hear from you. I think I will get it. My left hand just will not type anymore.

Same problem I have...thought about Dragon but haven't moved on it yet.

This sounds exactly the type of help we were looking for for my cousin when she was unable to communicate by speech. Sadly, too late for her but very interesting. From the little I know, anything that helps communication must be good.

Hope you get some positive feedbacks.

I've been using it much of the time since Christmas and love it. I'm not that good at following all the instructions yet, but even with little practice, it's great. Sometimes my voice isn't too clear so the message is pretty funny, so I dictate for a while, do something else and come back to it. Mine is the one for the Mac.

I downloaded Dragon DIctation as a (free!) app for my iPhone and I was shocked at how good it really is.....speech recognition has come a long way...now if i have to text something I just use that. Normally it would take me forever trying to correctly touch those itty-bitty letters on that itty-bitty keyboard! No fun if you have PD. THis software is the BEST ! You will love it!

I need a new er computor before I can even think about Dragon. My fingers don't move good any more but my speech is okay.

YES! I use Dragon Naturally Preferred software all the time. The latest version is very user-friendly and takes very little training. The earlier versions took a lot of training and weren't nearly as accurate. A good quality microphone positioned correctly is key. I highly recommend it for anyone who has difficulty typing.

I think a headset with mike is a good way of ensuring the consistent connection. It also helps with the training. I don't have a need for it now, I can type reasonably well when not in a down time, and when I am down my voice is unreliable. But I have retained a copy and will certainly use it in future when my fingers let me down

Par004, I don't understand why reviews were terrible, even the earlier versions were usable.

I'm not using Dragon but because of your question I checked the reviews. The reviews are terrible.

works well, you must invest time "training " it or else will be frustrating

invest in book "Dragon for Dummies " which is very helpful

need good quality microphone and must stay with the mic you train, best to use wired as opposed to wire less

try plantronic brand

must proof read whatever you dictate since there will be no typos but it can type the wrong word

Once while still working , i e mailed a sales woman to " bring the samples" to our meeting in Shanghai but it typed "bring the Cialis " !!!
