"Delete" instead of "Report"

Why on every question I ask, comment I post, or blog I post does "delete" appear at the top of my info when everyone else has ":report" on theirs?? This has bothered me for a while and I would like an answer, if anyone out there knows.

Hi Jenny :-) I think it is giving you the option to delete your own blog if you choose to do so.......It says report on everybody elses so they can report any abuse or inappropriate comments etc etc

i just posted on the discussion re-acupuncture. guess what - 6 tagged for Report, mine alone tagged for delete. I thought they would have had enough time in the month since i raised hell about the site continually dumping me to get it sorted, but obviously not.

Are you still having trouble being dumped?

no, but that could be because i have only posted comments 4 or 5 times this year. anything where i would need more than about 20 or 30 words i don't bother.

i don't know why you lost your posts. I do know this site is not constantly monitored by Parkinsons Movement as they maintain all the activities on the other PM site too. Health Unlocked looks after 170 forums like this so they would keep a low key involvement in individual sites.

Like others I back up long posts. On other forum I have lost what i wrote and it is more than frustrating. I do hope whatever was the problem has resolved now.

Do you push the delete button? Facebook offers the option on one's own postings to delete or edit. This one only offers delete.

Thanks folks. I feel much better now. At least I know the system is not picking on me!

Hi Jenny

I agree with Andy. When you post something, it shows delete in case you have changed your mind..
