Hi! This is my 5th year of ulcerative colitis and I’ve no idea if anyone has what its surgical implications or effects are. Need a little enlightenment!

Hi Roi12Be assured that surgery will only be considered if your UC can't be controlled by medicines.

I have had UC for over over 50 years and have experienced many improvements in treatments over this time.

You should discuss any concerns you have with your Doctors or IBD nurse who will be more than happy to allay any worries you may have.

I'm sorry I have been unable to answer your question and hope you are able to get the information you want.

Take care and best wishes for the future.

🙏😊
