Hi everyone just need a bit of advice and not sure it's related to crohn's but recently, like about the last 4 weeks, I feel like I have a cold. Hot sweats, stuffy head blocked nose which is adding to the impossible fatigue. I'm working from home today as I feel bloody awful and have a bad headache too. The thing is although I've mentioned a cold it just seems like one but not the same.I'm not experiencing many bowel symptoms only not hungry, a bit bloated and a slight increase in visits to the loo but nothing much to write home about. I seem to be bumbling from one problem to another.
I am due to start pred soon but otherwise I'm on nothing else for my crohn's.
God help me if I ever take immunosuppression medication long term as I'm getting sick often now without it.

hi Viklou, can’t be much help I’m afraid but just wanted you to know that your not alone and we are here to support you in anyway we can. I’m sending huge healing hugs 🤗 your way. Hope you feel better soon
Have you thought about doing a covid test? I had similar cold symptoms and was persuaded by my son and sister to do a test and was flabbergasted when it was positive. Thankfully my covid experience was better than I expected since I was told I was clinically extremely vulnerable. It was just like having flu and I came out the other side unscathed.
I would be wary of low grade fevers, because they can always turn into high grade emergencies. I would definitely get my GP involved to make sure that Sepsis is not lurking in the background. I hope you get better soon.
I'm starting a course of pred but declined fasamax with it for now. My bone density is fine. Hopefully it will tackle the nerve issue and the guts at the same time as I seem to be in some kind of flare with that department now
