On channel 4 in UK a programme called KNOW YOUR SH*T

I think have about 6 episodes about gut, bowel, diet, Crohn's and other issues.

I have only watched 1 episode, but I will definitely catch up with the rest on more 4.

Some of you may find this helpful. Worth a watch

I'm hoping it gets the word out and literally know your shit. Plus I also hope it gives someone the confidence to talk about their bowel issues more openly when they experience problems. Another good one has been the "Bad Skin Clinic" as that has had a few people with Crohn's on

I thought the program last week gave the impression that a stoma is the only form of surgical treatment for Crohns and did not cover the other surgical option of resection and join up.

I always think these programs sometimes dismiss how bad Crohns can be, with the usual statement of 'its not curable but treatable'

The other program covering Crohns was the Surgical one on BBC, which was pretty good and did explain how they reconect the bowel now laterally with staples, rather than what I have, the ends joined up which has now resullted in a surgical anastomosis stricture
