Hi everyone. Did anyone also experience having pressure in your anus when you were having colitis symptoms?

Yes I had it constantly for months during a long flare last year. I also had anal problems which helped me to get investigations and eventually a UC diagnosis.

Was your abdominal pain constant? Which part of your abdomen did it hurt?

My symptoms started early morning and went through to about lunchtime in general. The pain came when I was actively having the symptoms. It wasLike my body was trying to expel my gut. It was the lower abdomen for me, not one sided although my UC is left sided.

Hi, that was my only other symptom aside from blood. It was so bad. It came on shortly after I ate anything.
