Blood left in colon after a haemorrhage

I recently had a massive lower gi bleed due to an ulcer (35% of my blood volume) is there any danger of blood remaining in my colon for a long time? I stopped passing stools just before I ended up in ressus, however I continued to bleed for another few hours, and I have yet to pass any of the blood back out. I am getting a lot of pain and cramps and I am wondering whether there is any danger if the stool remains in my colon for too long, it's already been 3 days.

Thank you
