Anti thiyroid Meds and colitis

Hi

I was diagnosed with colitis in 2015 after bleeding from my back passage and stomach i had a really bad infection from my throat to my an us..which require ten solid days in hospital with cameras everywhere anyhow the up shot was colitis diagnosis I went home about a stone lighter and got on with it took the Meds for an alloted time went bk saw my consultant then was discharge..over the nxt year I developed server acid backwash and was put on a drug for that...then in 2018..I developed hyperthiyroid illness and was put on anti thiyroid Meds. .I have never been more ill in my life I threw up every time I took them my stomach/bowl blew up and I was on agony could not eat or drink without vomiting anyway after admittance to hospital in was taken off them saying I had a server reaction to them don not take anymore my GP was informed after 6 wks he put me on another thiyroid drugly ptu same thing anti thiyroid well same thing happend again but GP insisted I pursue them..well I'm now in hospital having gone in to thiyroid storm as the drugs were not getting in to my system...could the fact that I have colitis be the problem with my intolerance to the anti thiyroid drugs

I dont think there is a link between IBD and intolerance to thyroid meds. Think it may just be one of those things, sorry x
