48 hours of my weird bowls

Hey guys, I’m having a really bad day.

It’s been 2 days since my bowls started acting weird, I feel so fatigued and nauseous. I’m also having a hard time passing stool, I should probably see my doctor if this continues on till tomorrow.

I hope nothing bad happens. 😣

Hi hun, I noticed you wrote a post 6 months ago regarding a stricture. perhaps this is causing you problems. Are your stools soft or hard? as it could be either sluggish bowel or constipation. either way a gentle laxative should help x

Hello 👋🏼

My stool is both hard and soft, it depends on the day. I’ve never taken a laxative for anything other than a colonoscopy, so I decided to go with something more natural.

I soaked mint leaves in hot water and drank it, it worked like a charm and it softened my stool in a matter of seconds, I feel good now. 😁

Fantastic, I would of recommended sennakot as thats natural but your idea sounds much better. unfortunately all the scar tissue from repeated flare ups can cause the bowel to become sluggish. So glad your feeling better x

I’m not sure I know exactly what you mean by sluggish, can you explain please ? 🤔

Sorry, mean as in slow or lazy

Ooooooh that makes sense, as slow as a slug 🐌 😆

It feels like my bowls freeze up sometimes, they’re not even sluggish ... they just feel like they’ve stopped working.

I learned the hard way not to wait if your having bowel problems. I waited two weeks and ended up in the hospital for 3 days. I hope that you fell better
