Looking for a way to jump start my bowels

I have had UC for 12 years and for the most part it has been well control but almost 4 monthsago my upper bowel has just stopped working. I have tried everything I can think of and so has my Dr. I have a coloscopy booked but won't do any good if I can't empty my bowels. All I pass is liquid.

Your gastrointestinal consultant and team have an absolute avalanche of items ranging from lactulose all the way through o dynamite. If your GI team are unsure of the best way forward contact St Marks at Northwick Park ,they are by miles the Tops for Bottoms..................That is all they deal with Crohn's,Colitis and fistula and cancer of the bowel. If there is nothing wrong with your digestive tract or colon, don't go there.

I have used everything except the dynamite. But thanks anyway as I am in Canada so don't think they will cross the border. I have a CT scan hopefully soon.
