Will there be a cure in our lifetime?

Hi there,

With the ongoing research, new drugs/theories/research into the imbalance of bacteria/whatever may be the cause of Crohn's, is it reasonable to expect a cure in our lifetime as time goes on?

I think there is a chance of a breakthrough. Or at least enough medication coming out which is new to keep us people with Crohn's in remission. (In relation to how our bodies get used to the medication and we need to go on a new one, I'm concerned of running out of medication)

Regards,

James
