One more run on Wednesday and that's it - I get the well earned 'graduate' badge - yippee. I have a question - my complete distance is 2.9 mile which includes warm up and warm down walk. I am nearly 40 and a few stone overweight, so is this distance good, average, poor etc?

Damn good I would say, keep it going after graduation, the weight will start to fall off and the more you do the further you will get. I am going to do the 5K+ after I graduate. :-)

Who cares about the distance at this point? One more run and you're a graduate! Think back to thiose early days... were you worried about pace and distance then? I bet you weren't. You were just happy to finish 60 seconds in one piece. ;-)

BTW, 2.9 miles = 4.66 km, by my reckoning that's almost 5K. Take off a bit for the warm-up, cool-down, that's still good. :-)
