pain in legs ?
Shin splints. This is what is also preventing me from doing the C25K. Tried the first workout about a month ago now and ended up with severe shin splints to the point where I actually went for x-rays because I was so worried. They healed just over a week ago and I tried workout 1 again, following a lot of stretching and spending over £100 on some proper running shoes, having had gait analysis etc done, and surprise surprise, they came back. I just don't know what to do.
Only advice I can give you really is don't carry on running. You need to rest the injury. Google shin splints.
thank you for your answer , is what i thought but wanted a different answer haha . is so frustrating . if you find a solution , let me know ! good luck
my best mate had this and switched to cycling which works really well for her

You may be landing awkwardly - changing your running 'form' can make a big difference (or maybe changing your shoes). Try reading up on 'pose running' or 'chi running' before you decide running really isn't for you.
I use calf compression socks as support. The pain at the front of the shins comes from a small muscle fighting against bigger, thicker, tight calf muscles, or so I'm told. I troed the calf compression socks and found they help.
Unfortunately they don't stop me from tweaking calf muscles though!
